Xiaomi took the wraps off of its top-tier flagship – Xiaomi 14 Ultra at an event today. Continuing the tradition, the brand also announced a Professional Photography Kit for the smartphone. This turns the device into a proper camera for photography enthusiasts and those who want to make the most out of the impressive optics.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra gets an upgraded Professional Photography Kit
The photography kit for last year’s Xiaomi 13 Ultra was quite basic. The brand has upgraded the same of the latest Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The kit includes a camera handle, 67mm filter adapter rings, a lens cover, and a lanyard.
The Professional Photography Kit can be connected to the Xiaomi 14 Ultra via the USB-C port compared to Bluetooth 5.0 on the predecessor model. The brand says that this eliminates any delay while offering a stable and reliable connection. The handle also has a 1,500mAh built-in battery and supports 90W wired charging. Additionally, it is capable of charging the smartphone when its battery drops below 80 percent.
Xiaomi claims that the Professional Photography Kit delivers a professional camera-like experience. It offers a strong and comfortable grip for one-hand usage. The accessory also comes with new functionalities. It now has a custom dial and a video recording button in addition to the two-stage shutter button and zoom lever. The custom dial can be used to adjust various settings like aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and more.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Professional Photography Kit is available in White and Black color options. It carries a price tag of CNY 999.
