Boult, a growing wearable brand, has confirmed that it has sold one million units of the Boult Z40 TWS earbuds over the past year in India. The brand has also revealed that it is gearing up to launch the Z40-series TWS earbuds in the country.

According to Boult, the Boult Z40’s positive reception earned it an average 4.1-star rating on e-commerce platforms, with numerous reviews and recognition as a global top-seller by Counterpoint Research. The brand is yet to reveal any details about the upcoming Z40-series TWS.

Boult Z40 specifications, price

The Boult Z40 is priced at Rs 1,399 (~$16) on Flipkart, Amazon, and the Boult Audio website. It comes in three shades, such as white, brown, and blue.

The Z40 is equipped with 10mm neodymium audio drives, and it promises a playtime of 60 hours. A minute charge of the device promises a playtime of around 100 minutes. It supports various features, such as ENC, game mode, equalizer mode, monopod, voice assistant, a USB-C port, and touch control. In addition, it offers Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity and IPX5-rated water resistance.

Boult’s co-founder, Varun Gupta, speaking on this success, highlighted their initial confidence in the Z40 and expressed their focus on exceeding user expectations with future iterations. Representatives from partner company Flipkart and industry analyst firm Counterpoint Research also added comments acknowledging Boult’s positive market performance and the Z40’s value proposition.

In related news, Boult has launched two TWS products this month in India. The Z40 Ultra TWS with 35dB ANC and dual device connectivity feature is available for Rs 1,999 (~$$24), whereas the Boult K40 with ENC was announced a couple of days ago for Rs 899 (~$10).
