At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024, Zepp Health Corporation introduced Zepp OS 3.5 along with Zepp Flow. This significant update incorporates a Natural-Language User Interface (LUI) powered by large language model (LLM) AI, making Amazfit smartwatches the first to offer such advanced interaction capabilities.
Zepp Flow, the centerpiece of Zepp OS 3.5, allows users to interact with their smartwatches using natural speech. This eliminates the need for memorizing specific commands, enabling a more intuitive communication akin to conversing with a human. Whether it’s starting a workout, setting reminders, or managing schedules, Zepp Flow understands and processes user requests with remarkable efficiency and precision.
The rollout of this innovative software begins on February 26th for Amazfit Balance users in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and the Republic of Ireland. Following this initial launch, users in select European countries including France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and several others will receive the update on May 1st. The deployment will continue through May and June, extending Zepp OS 3.5 and Zepp Flow to various Amazfit models such as the Cheetah series, Falcon, T-Rex Ultra, and Active, across North America and Europe.
This update not only introduces voice interaction enhancements but also integrates offline maps, global ski maps, and improved syncing of image messages from third-party apps.
