Lenovo has introduced its latest gaming machine in China, the 2024 Legion Y9000P laptop, featuring the latest Intel processor as well as the latest Nvidia RTX GPUs. The laptop has a dazzling 16-inch display that promises an immersive gaming experience with its 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution, 240Hz refresh rate for seamless motion, and 100% DCI-P3 coverage for vibrant colors. The display’s 500 nits brightness and a quick 3ms response time ensure clarity and speed, further enhanced by DisplayHDR 400, Dolby Vision, and Nvidia G-Sync for dynamic visuals.

Powering this gaming laptop is the Intel Core i9-14900HX processor, providing a significant performance boost over its predecessors. The inclusion of Nvidia’s RTX 40 series GPUs across its variants — from the RTX 4060 to the high-end RTX 4090 — guarantees cutting-edge graphics for all levels of gaming enthusiasts. Despite the variety in GPUs, Lenovo ensures a consistent processing experience by equipping all models with the same high-performance CPU.

In terms of memory and storage, the base variant comes equipped with 16GB of DDR5 5600 RAM, while other models offer 32GB to handle more demanding games and multitasking with ease. A 1TB SSD across all configurations means plenty of space and fast load times for an extensive game library. To tackle the heat generated by these components, the Legion Y9000P includes the Frost Blade Ultra cooling system, capable of handling up to 250 watts of performance, ensuring the laptop remains cool under heavy use.

As for pricing, the Legion Y9000P has a starting price of 10,399 yuan ($1,445) for the RTX 4060 model, while the RTX 4070 model has a price tag of 11,499 yuan ($1,598). The top model in the lineup featuring an RTX 4090 has a launch price of 23,999 yuan ($3,334). While Lenovo has not yet announced plans for a global release, the international availability of the previous model suggests that the 2024 Legion Y9000P might follow suit, potentially being rebranded as the Legion Pro 7i and 5i for global markets.
