The Vivo Pad 3 series was expected to launch alongside the highly anticipated Vivo X Fold 3 lineup in China later this month. But it appears that only one tablet model will be announced during this event. So here are all the details.
Vivo Pad 3 debut still a while away
To recall, the Vivo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro were rumored to launch alongside the Vivo X Fold 3 series. But according to known tipster Digital Chat Station, only the higher end Vivo Pad 3 Pro will be announced in the upcoming launch event. This means that the base Pad 3 model’s launch is still a while away.
The tipster further added that the price of the Vivo Pad 3 Pro will see an increase over its predecessor. For those unaware, the Vivo Pad 2 debuted for a 2,399 yuan (roughly 333 US Dollars) price tag in China back in April 2023. So we expect the Vivo Pad 3 Pro to be priced near the 400 US Dollars or 2,800 Yuan price range.
Based on what we know so far, the Vivo Pad 3 and Pad 3 Pro are expected to sport LCD displays. The vanilla version is rumored to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Pro variant could launch as the first tablet powered by the Dimensity 9300 chipset.
