Xiaomi‘s latest smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, is all set to launch in India on March 7, 2024. Ahead of its debut, details about its storage option and pricing have surfaced online.
According to a tip from @yabhishekhd on Twitter/X, the phone will be available in India with a 12GB RAM and 512GB storage variant, with a box price tagged at Rs. 74,999. However, it’s expected to sell for about Rs. 65,000.
Xiaomi 14 specs
The Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch 1.5K TCL CSOT C8 OLED LTPO 12bit display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC on the TSMC 4nm process, it packs LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. It features the Android 14-based Hyper OS operating system.
Its camera setup includes a 50MP light fusion 900 OIS+ main lens, a 50MP JN1 Ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto JN1 on the rear, along with a 32MP OV32B front camera. The device is equipped with a 4610mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging via a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port.
It’s rated IP68 for water and dust resistance and includes WiFi 7, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and an X-axis linear motor for haptics. The phone is available in two variants with 8.2mm (glass) and 8.28mm (leather) thicknesses, weighing 193 grams and 188 grams respectively. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual stereo speakers, and an IR blaster for remote control.
