Huawei is gearing up to launch its new fitness tracker, the Band 9, globally, and signs point to its arrival soon. Following its recent listing on Malaysia’s SIRIM certification, Band 9 has now received certification from the UAE’s TDRA as well.

The band is listed on the TDRA’s database with model number KIM-B19, the same as the one listed on the SIRIM database. However, apart from its presence on the certification site, which suggests a UAE launch is likely, no further details about the tracker have been revealed by the listing.

Huawei Band 9 TRDA certification

While the certification doesn’t provide specifics about its features or specifications, the Band 9 is expected to build upon the success of its predecessor, the Band 8, which was released last year.

To quickly recap, the Band 8 features a sizable 1.47-inch AMOLED display, offering a great visual experience for a budget-friendly tracker. It includes Huawei’s TruSleep 3.0 technology for accurate sleep monitoring and personalized sleep guidance.

Moreover, the Band 8 is equipped with TruSeen 5.0 heart rate monitoring, providing users with a 7-day resting heart rate graph for valuable insights into their heart health.

In addition to sleep and heart rate monitoring, the Band 8 offers over 100 sports modes, blood oxygen detection, women’s health tracking, and all-day stress monitoring. Notably, it boasts an impressive 14-day battery life and supports fast charging, allowing it to go from 0 to 100% in just 45 minutes.

With its appearance on certification databases, it’s evident that the launch of the Huawei Band 9 is imminent. While specific details remain scarce for now, we can expect more information to emerge in the coming days.
