Motorola is gearing up to potentially release its Moto G Power 5G (2024) smartphone. The detailed renders of the phone surfaced last November, showcasing its design from every angle. Now, the upcoming device has appeared in a Geekbench listing.

According to the Geekbench entry, the Moto G Power 5G (2024) will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 chipset. For those who might not know, this chipset is essentially a rebranded version of the Dimesnity 930 processor found in its predecessor, the G Power 5G (2023).

The chipset boasts two Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.2GHz for demanding tasks, along with six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2.0GHz for efficiency.

In Geekbench tests, the smartphone achieved a respectable score of 679 in single-core performance and 2005 in multi-core performance. It comes with 8GB of RAM and comes pre-installed with Android 14.

Beyond this, the Geekbench listing doesn’t provide any additional details about the device.

However, rumors suggest that it might feature a 6.7-inch display with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. Motorola is expected to use an IPS LCD panel for the display, possibly offering an HD resolution of 1200 x 1600 pixels.

Official-looking renders suggest that Motorola will release the device in Orchid Tint and Outer Space color options. The device is expected to measure 167.3 x 76.4 x 8.5 mm and feature flat edges on the corners.

Additionally, the G Power 5G (2024) may support 67W wired charging. Other specifications of the smartphone are under wraps at this time. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed of any new updates regarding the device.
