On the eve of International Women’s Day, Nokia introduced a new Nokia G42 5G variant with 4GB of RAM. It is available in three different color options So Pink, So Purple, and So Grey. Interested folks can complement the joy of International Women’s Day by grabbing the Nokia G42 5G in a new RAM variant. The smartphone is already retailing in India in 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variants. The new variant will be an additional choice for buyers at the price of Rs 9,999.
Nokia G42 5G 4GB RAM variant is exclusively available from Amazon and HMD’s online stores. Additionally, the smartphone will ship with a 20W fast charger, cable, and a jelly case.
Nokia G42 5G Specifications and Features
The new variant comes with 4GB of RAM + 2GB of virtual RAM to enhance multitasking. Similarly, the previous variants, like the 8GB RAM, feature 8GB of virtual RAM, and the 6GB RAM houses 5GB of virtual RAM.
Other specifications remain the same for the Nokia G42 5G, which pairs with the Snapdragon 480 Plus 5G chipset. It packs a large 6.56-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 450 nits of peak brightness. It’s well protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass display. Further, there’s a 5000 mAh battery onboard with 20W fast charging technology.
In camera, the smartphone offers a 50MP primary camera and an additional two 2MP cameras on the rear. There’s an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling. It runs on the latest Android, with guaranteed OS upgrades. Meanwhile, it supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, GNSS, and USB Type-C connectivity. There’s an additional MicroSD card slot for storage expansion, a side-mounted fingerprint for easy authentication, and a 3.5mm audio jack for music.
The 4GB RAM variant will be available for Rs 9,999, meanwhile, the 6GB RAM is available for Rs 12,499 in India.
