The TCL Q9K mini LED TV has been launched in China. The new smart TV comes with impressive features and is an upgraded version of the 2023 TCL Q10G Pro TV. The new model has been fully upgraded across six dimensions namely brightness, partitioning, halo control technology, color, sound quality, and appearance.

The TCL Q9K, with its improvements over its predecessor, is termed the most worth-buying Mini LED TV so far this year. This is due to its excellent and industry-leading features across various aspects of the TV. The Q9K comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, 75-inch, 85-inch and 98-inch variants. The 55-inch panel has 720 partitions, while the 65-inch model has 1,008 partitions. The 75-inch panel comes with 1,248 partitions while the 85/98-inch panels have 1,536 partitions. The improved partitions offer better light control performance and contrast. The peak brightness of the TV is up to 2,400 nits while the dynamic contrast ratio is 24 million:1.

The TCL Q9K TV is equipped with TCL global halo control technology and offers a six-crystal square core, optical image lens, and transient response for optimal light management. The new TCL Mini LED TV uses the Quantum Dot Pro 2024 technology which delivers a 98% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage. The TV also has an ultra-high full-screen color purity (95%) and color accuracy of Delta E less than 0.99. The TV’s light source has a lifespan of 100,000 hours non-fading.

The Q9K TV has a built-in 90W 7-unit 2.1.2-channel Hi-Fi audio system combined with a 20W subwoofer and two independent sky channels. This delivers a full range of stereo surround sound field effects. The TV features the Lingyao M2 host chip plus a TSR independent Mini LED image quality enhancement chip. This delivers 4GB of memory and 128GB of internal storage. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and four HDMI 2.1 ports are present on the TV.

Pricing & Availability

The TCL Q9K 55” is priced at 4,499 yuan ($625) but is offered at a launch price of 4,199 yuan ($584). The 65-inch model has a release price of 5,499 yuan ($765) but was originally priced at 5,999 yuan ($834). The 75-inch version of the TV starts at 6,999 yuan ($973) while the 85-inch model starts at 8,999 yuan ($1,251). The largest model is the 98-inch version which starts at 17,999 yuan ($2,502). The TCL Q9K is available for purchase from online retail channels like JD.com.
