Bose announced the Ultra Open earbuds earlier in January this year at CES. The American-based audio brand has now brought the TWS earphone to the Indian market. It is a premium offering and competes against the likes of Apple AirPods Pro, Sony WF-100XM5, Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3, and more in the market. The notable difference between the Bose Ultra Open earbuds and others is that the former has a unique open-ear design. Bose Ultra Open earbuds has premium features but no ANC

As mentioned earlier, the Bose Ultra Open have an open ear design meaning they don’t obstruct the ear canal by having to be plugged inside the ear. This makes them ideal for those who want to avoid the discomfort of wearing earphones and headphones. The audio device has a G-shaped design with a joint that attaches around the user’s earlobe and a round barrel that sits behind it. 

On the audio front, the Bose Ultra Open come with Snapdragon Sound technology and Qualcomm aptX Adaptive Codec. It has the ability to stream lossless audio. There is the brand’s proprietary OpenAudio technology that offers high-quality sound without spilling out and disturbing others around the wearer. The Immersive Audio feature adds a spatial effect and creates an illusion of the music playing around the wearer instead of through earbuds. There is a built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

The Bose Ultra Open pack Bluetooth 5.3 and comes with Google Fast Pair. They can also be connected with select Bose speakers and soundbars. The audio device has a rated battery life of 7.5 hours and 4.5 hours with Immersive Audio enabled. With the case, the battery life goes up to 19.5 hours. 

Bose Ultra Open pricing and availability in India

The Bose Ultra Open carry a price tag of Rs 25,900. It is already available for purchase in India from Amazon and large retail stores like Reliance Digital, Croma, and Vijay Sales.
