AOC has introduced a new monitor, the Q27G20XM, currently exclusive to its Chinese website. This new 27-inch monitor offers a resolution of 2560 x 1440 and utilizes mini LED backlight technology, featuring 1152 independent lighting zones providing deeper blacks, higher brightness, and improved contrast.
It stands out for its HDR capabilities, offering a standard brightness of 700 cd/m² and peaking at 1,000 cd/m² for high-contrast scenes, earning it the DisplayHDR 1000 certification.
The Q27G20XM supports a high refresh rate of 180 Hz through a DisplayPort connection, and 144 Hz via HDMI, coupled with a quick one-millisecond gray-to-gray response time. It’s compatible with both G-Sync and AMD FreeSync technologies, making it a viable option for gamers running either an Nvidia or an AMD graphics card.
Additionally, it boasts full sRGB coverage, 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, and Adobe RGB color spaces, indicating excellent color accuracy. It offers flexibility regarding physical adjustments, such as rotation, tilt, and height, and supports VESA mounting (100 x 100 mm).
Currently, the company has not revealed details about the availability or pricing in China. It is also unknown if or when the AOC plans to debut the Q27G20XM monitor in the global market.
In related news, the brand has also recently debuted a 260Hz monitor of the same size in China, although it features an IPS panel.
