Xiaomi is set to launch their new Mijia 508L cross-door refrigerator tomorrow. This refrigerator boasts a sleek “Ice Feather White Natural Texture Panel” finish and comes with a price tag of 3,999 yuan (approximately $562 USD).

The refrigerator has 299 litres of refrigeration space and 180 litres of freezer space

Designed for functionality and aesthetics, the refrigerator measures only 60cm deep, occupying minimal space (0.516m²) with a front width of 85.2cm. This allows the refrigerator to sit flush with cabinets for a seamless look. Additionally, the 90-degree right-angle door opening and bottom front heat dissipation design enhance both form and function.

The refrigerator’s interior offers 299L of refrigeration space and 180L of freezer space, catering to various storage needs. Xiaomi has also incorporated a moisturizing drawer and a mother and baby area for specialized food storage. The refrigerator compartment features a built-in silver ion antibacterial and odor-free module, boasting a 99.99% antibacterial rate to keep food fresh and odor-free.

Xiaomi’s 360° air-cooling cycle ensures rapid and even cooling throughout the refrigerator, preventing frost build-up. A variable frequency compressor and 5 temperature-sensing probes work together to maintain consistent and precise temperatures. For energy efficiency, the refrigerator is rated Level 1, consuming less than one kilowatt hour of electricity per day.

The Mijia 508L also boasts smart features. It can be connected to the Mijia App via Xiaomi HyperOS Connect, allowing for remote control of modes and temperature settings. Users can also control the refrigerator with voice commands through Xiaoai classmates. Additionally, the refrigerator supports OTA online upgrades, ensuring it stays up-to-date.
