After the recent debut of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered Redmi Turbo 3 flagship-killer smartphone in China, the Xiaomi sub-brand is now working on a new performance-oriented device called the Redmi K70 Ultra. Unlike the Redmi Turbo 3, this new device is rumored to feature a flagship MediaTek processor.

The report also includes that the device will feature a 50-megapixel main camera, along with other camera sensors like an ultra-wide and a macro camera. For the display, it’s said to have an OLED screen with 1.5K resolution with a dedicated graphics chip, which should make for good visuals and gaming. The phone is also expected to come with 120W fast charging, a metal frame with a glass back, and options for up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. It’ll have a 5,500mAh battery too.

While the K70 Ultra will be available in China, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will target global markets and might come with some extra features not found on the K70 Ultra.
