Specifications

The Huawei Pura 70 features a 6.6-inch display with a crisp 2760 x 1256 resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The Pura 70 Pro+ steps it up with a larger 6.8-inch LTPO OLED panel boasting an even sharper 1440 x 3040 resolution.

Both displays offer a dynamic refresh rate that can adjust from 1Hz to 120Hz for optimal performance and battery efficiency. And you get an in-screen fingerprint scanner for secure and convenient unlocking on both models.

For protection against drops and scratches, both phones come equipped with the second generation of Huawei’s innovative Kunlun Glass. It improves drop resistance by a staggering 100% compared to first-gen Kunlun glass, according to Huawei.

Under the hood, the Pura 70 Pro+ is powered by the latest Kirin 9010 chipset, the successor to the Kirin 9000S. The SoC features a new octa-core CPU configuration with two high-performance cores clocked at 2.30GHz, six mid-range cores at 2.18GHz, and four efficiency cores at 1.55GHz.

The Pura 70, on the other hand, uses a slightly less powerful variant, the Kirin 9000S1. As for software, both phones run the latest HarmonyOS 4.2.

Keeping the lights on in the Pura 70 Pro+ is a substantial 5050mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 80W wireless charging.

The Pura 70 comes with a slightly smaller 4900mAh battery and supports still-impressive 66W wired charging, and 50W wireless charging. Notably, both phones offer satellite connectivity for communication in remote areas.

Camera-wise, the Pura 70 has a 50MP sensor with a wide f/1.4 to f/4.0 variable aperture for excellent low-light performance and optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharper pictures. It’s accompanied by a 12MP telephoto lens and a 13MP ultrawide sensor with an f/2.2 aperture.

The Pura 70 Pro+ shares the same impressive 50MP main camera with variable aperture and OIS. However, it upgrades the telephoto lens to a higher-resolution 48MP sensor and keeps the 12.5MP ultrawide lens. Both phones feature a 13-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.
