Redmi launched the Redmi 13C and Redmi 13C 5G smartphones in Q4 2023, and the brand is currently said to be working on the Redmi 13 5G. A recent report revealed its model numbers for different markets and the chipset that it will come equipped with. A new leak that surfaced on Weibo has revealed the battery size and charging capabilities of the device.

Redmi 13 5G battery, charging details leaked (rumored)

To recall, the Redmi 12 5G came equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. The same chip is expected to power the Redmi 13 5G. The new leak states that the device will pack a 5,000mAh battery and have support for 33W fast charging. To recall, the Redmi 12 5G from last year packed the same battery but offered slower 18W charging support.

The Redmi 13 5G’s internal code is N19 and it is said to have the “Breeze” codename. The 2406ERN9CC model number is reportedly associated with the Chinese variant of the device. Its Indian edition is identified with the 2406ERN9CI model number.

Another variant with the model number 24066PC95I is reportedly on its way to India. This device is likely to arrive as a Poco device, and probably carry the “Poco M7 5G” moniker. The Redmi 13 5G and the Poco M7 5G are expected to come preloaded with the HyperOS-based Android 14. The other details of these devices are yet to be revealed.

To recall, the Redmi 12 5G features a 6.79-inch IPS LCD 90Hz screen with support for Full HD+ resolution, a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and up to 128 GB of internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging, MIUI 13-based Android 13, and a side-facing fingerprint scanner. For photography, it has an 8-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.
