Philips has just announced the Philips Evnia 27M2N5500, a new 27-inch gaming monitor with a sustainable design and high-performance features.

The Evnia 27M2N5500 boasts a 1440p IPS panel with a 180Hz refresh rate and a quick response time of 1ms GtG (or 0.5ms MPRT) to ensure sharp and smooth visuals. It also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification as well as 125%, 93.5%, and 89% coverage of the sRGB, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB color gamuts, respectively. The monitor also comes with LowBlue Mode to reduce eye strain.

Sustainability is a key focus as the monitor’s ergonomic stand uses 35% recycled plastic, and the chassis is 85% post-consumer recycled plastic.
The display features a couple of HDMI 2.0 ports, four USB 3.2 Type-A downstream (2x fast charge B.C 1.2), a USB Type-B upstream, a display port 1.4, and a 3.5 mm jack.
Pricing & availability
The Philips Evnia 27M2N5500 will be available in May 2024 for £239.99 ($305).
