Samsung still has plenty of time before unveiling its Galaxy S25 series. We are currently waiting for the release of Galaxy foldable, but rumors about the Galaxy S25 series have already started to surface. A recent leak has revealed the camera specifications of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

According to the reputable source Ice Universe, the S25 Ultra will keep the quad-camera setup from its predecessors but will introduce two key upgrades.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra camera upgrade leak

The tipster reports that the phone will feature a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP super-telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. That means improvements in the ultrawide and one of the telephoto lenses.

In comparison, the Galaxy S24 Ultra has a 12MP ultrawide lens and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The main and super-telephoto sensors remain the same at 200MP and 50MP resolutions.

Previous rumors suggested that Samsung might bring the S25 Ultra with only three cameras. While that information came from a less reliable source, Ice Universe has a solid track record for leaking details about upcoming Samsung phones. Therefore, we can be confident that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will retain its quad-camera setup.

Although the tipster didn’t mention it, the S25 Ultra is also rumored to use a newer 200MP sensor, close to 1 inch in size. If true, the S25 Ultra will see significant hardware upgrades in its camera capabilities.

We also expect the S25 Ultra to come with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor and One UI 7 based on Android 15, though design changes may be minimal.
