After a delay, Samsung has now officially debuted the Galaxy F55 5G smartphone in India. The device is a rebrand of the China-exclusive Galaxy C55 featuring a vegan feather finish.

The Galaxy F55 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor and operates on Android 14. It has launched with three configurations: 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB.

For photography, the phone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. A 50MP front camera is available for high-quality selfies.

The smartphone is supported by a 5000mAh battery compatible with 45W fast charging, though the charger is not included in the box. Additional features include USB 2.0, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and IP67 water and dust resistance. The device also includes Knox security and is promised four years of Android updates and five years of security updates.

Pricing & availability

The Galaxy F55 5G is offered in three configurations: the 8GB/128GB model is priced at Rs. 26,999, the 8GB/256GB at Rs. 29,999, and the highest 12GB/256GB variant at Rs. 32,999.

As part of the launch, Samsung is offering a Rs. 2,000 cashback on HDFC bank transactions. Customers can also purchase a 45W power adapter for Rs. 499 or a Galaxy Fit 3 smartwatch for Rs. 1,999. These offers are valid until May 31st. The first sale of the device will commence at 7 PM today.
