Xiaomi‘s next-gen flip phone is in the works, and a fresh certification sighting hints that the Mix Flip announcement could be near. The upcoming foldable device was spotted on the IMDA listing, which is a certification in Singapore. So here is everything you need to know.

The Chinese tech giant’s Mix Flip was spotted on the IMDA database carrying the 2405CPX3DG model number. The flip phone is listed as a “5G Mobile Phone with Bluetooth, WiFi, and NFC.” This device appears to be the global variant, considering it surfaced outside of the brand’s home market of China. Just recently, the upcoming Mix Flip was spotted on the IMEI database alongside the Xiaomi 14T and the Xiaomi 14T Pro smartphone models. Based on what we know so far, the next-gen Mix Flip will likely feature flagship grade specs and features. So we can expect the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. A 4,800mAh or 4,900mAh battery pack could power this device. Thanks to a 3C certification sighting, we know that this model may support 67W fast charging.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the Xiaomi Mix Flip could support two way satellite connectivity that allows users to send SOS signals for emergencies. An earlier leak also revealed the design of the smartphone, showcasing a primary display with ultra slim bezels on the front, which may offer a 1.5K resolution. Camera specifications of the device have been revealed as well. The primary sensor on the back has a 50-megapixel shooter that may be accompanied with a 60-megapixel telephoto Omnivision OV60A sensor that offers 2x zoom. Meanwhile, the front packs a 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
