Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Watch FE (Fan Edition). It is the first FE-branded smartwatch from the company. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.

The Galaxy Watch FE has a 1.2-inch Super AMOLED display that offers 396 x 396 pixels resolution. The screen is shielded by a layer of sapphire glass. It comes only in a 40mm variant and features an aluminium case.

When it comes to connectivity, the Galaxy Watch FE offers features, such as Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, NFC, and multiple satellite systems (GPS/Glonass/Beidou/Galileo). Durability is a highlight, with the watch boasting an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, a 5ATM rating for diving, and MIL-STD-810H certification.
The Galaxy Watch FE is designed to track over 100 different workouts, offering advanced running analysis, personalized heart rate zones, and body composition analysis. Sleep tracking features include monitoring sleep patterns, sleep coaching, and creating a sleep-friendly environment. The watch also supports heart health monitoring with HR Alert for abnormal heart rates, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) for atrial fibrillation detection, blood pressure monitoring, and ECG. It is equipped other sensors, such as accelerometer, barometer, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, and light sensor.
