In a surprising turn of events, BYD‘s Denza division acknowledged an unauthorized leak of their new Denza Z9 GT’s interior. Denza sales chief Zhao Changjiang expressed disappointment that media outlets risked hefty fines to publish the information early. He also downplayed the leak’s significance, claiming the video’s poor quality didn’t capture the car’s luxurious feel. To make the fans happy, Denza promises official high-quality interior photos or videos that will be revealed tomorrow morning.
The Z9 GT will have two versions, a plug-in hybrid and a pure electric version
The Z9 GT itself is generating excitement with two planned versions: plug-in hybrid and pure electric. The plug-in hybrid boasts a 2.0T engine paired with three electric motors, offering a powerful driving experience. The pure electric version utilizes a three-motor setup at the front and rear for a potentially thrilling electric ride.

While details are still emerging, some key specs are confirmed. The plug-in hybrid variant measures 5195mm in length, 1990mm wide, and 1500mm tall (1480mm for some models). The pure electric version is slightly shorter in length. Both versions come standard with a panoramic sunroof and an electric rear wing. Optional features include three laser radars, various colored brake calipers and rims, carbon fiber trims, air suspension, and more.
