Reputed tipster Digital Chat Station today revealed some information about the upcoming ColorOS 15. According to him, the update will offer improved system animations.
ColorOS 15 could offer another feature similar to Apple’s Live Photos
The update will also reportedly bring a feature similar to Apple‘s Live Photos. For those unfamiliar, the feature in iPhone allows users to record what happens 1.5 seconds before and 1.5 seconds after taking a picture. This could be really helpful when capturing a fast-moving subject like a bird flying in the sky.
The tipster also noted in a separate Weibo post that devices with ColorOS 15 will get the ability to transfer files with Apple devices through a feature similar to AirDrop. AirDrop is a feature developed by Apple that allows its users to wirelessly send photos, videos, documents, and more easily to other Apple devices. However, to use this connectivity feature of ColorOS 15, users will need to install an app on their Apple devices. Unfortunately, we currently don’t have more information about the app.
But which models will get the feature first? Well, Ma Xin, Director of User Experience and Solutions for OPPO ColorOS, previously revealed some information about the feature.
