Apple‘s budget-friendly iPhone SE line is rumored to be getting a significant design overhaul in 2024, finally ditching the familiar yet dated look of the iPhone 8 series.

Previously leaked CAD renders of the iPhone SE 4 show that it might adopt the iPhone 14’s design, with flat edges and a single rear camera. However, well-known leaker Fixed Focus Digital throws a curveball, suggesting the rear design will actually resemble the upcoming iPhone 16.

If this is true, the SE 4 might sport dual rear cameras arranged vertically, similar to the iPhone X—a design Apple hasn’t used for several generations.

Adding a dual-camera system would be a notable upgrade for the SE line, which has traditionally had only a single lens. While the exact capabilities of the new camera are unknown, it could offer better low-light performance or telephoto features.

Although the SE 4 might look similar to the iPhone 16, the latter will likely differentiate it with a “Dynamic Island” design, while the SE model might keep the classic notch used in previous iPhones for the front-facing camera and Face ID.

Remember, these details are based on leaks and have not been confirmed by Apple. However, given the pattern of past SE releases and the aging current design, a refresh in 2024 seems likely.

If the leaks are accurate, the new iPhone SE could come with a modern design and improved enhanced camera features. We’ll keep you updated with any new details about the iPhone SE 4 as they emerge.
