A new leak from Digital Chat Station has revealed early details about Samsung‘s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The leak suggests that the S25 Ultra will be the first Samsung device to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, unsurprisingly!
In terms of cameras, the device is expected to include a 200-megapixel main sensor, along with a 3x zoom lens and a 5x periscope telephoto lens. This setup is pretty much similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra, although there is still uncertainty about the fourth lens and whether Samsung will increase the megapixel count for its zoom lenses compared to its predecessor.
The leak also suggests that the battery and charging capabilities will remain the same. The S25 Ultra is rumored to have a battery capacity of 4855mAh minimum or 5000mAh typical, with a charging speed of 45W.

There are several reports suggesting that the phones with Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will prioritize increasing battery capacity due to its high power consumption. For instance, the upcoming OPPO Find X7 Ultra is expected to feature a 6,000mAh battery. However, it seems that Samsung does not have plans for a similar upgrade at this time.
Nevertheless, we expect the Galaxy S25 Ultra to ship with a stable One UI 7 interface based on Android 15. Additionally, a leak from last month revealed that the S25 Ultra will be slimmer than its predecessor, measuring 8.4mm thick compared to the S24 Ultra’s 8.6mm.
While this difference in size is minor, the report assures that Samsung is not compromising on camera capabilities for the sake of slimness. The recent leak from Digital Chat Station largely supports this claim.
Moreover, the S25 Ultra is expected to move away from the sharp corners seen in the S24 Ultra, likely adopting a more curved design similar to the S23 Ultra and S22 Ultra.
As more information becomes available, we will continue to provide updates on the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra.
