Sennheiser has introduced the MKH 8030 Figure-8 RF condenser microphone, expanding its MKH 8000 series. This new microphone is designed to deliver clear sound even in noisy environments. It features a figure-8 pickup pattern for isolating sound sources, making it suitable for recording artists and sound engineers.

The MKH 8030 supports M-S (mid-side), double M-S, and Blumlein stereo recording formats and integrates seamlessly with other MKH 8000 series microphones. It offers a frequency response of 30 to 50,000Hz, a noise level of 13dB(A) / 21dB (CCIR), a maximum sound pressure level of 139dB, and a sensitivity of -31dBV/Pa (28 mV/Pa). The microphone is wired and weighs 38g.

The MKH 8000 series includes the MKH 8020 (omni-directional), MKH 8090 (wide cardioid), MKH 8040 (cardioid), MKH 8050 (super-cardioid), MKH 8060 (short shotgun, super-cardioid/lobar), MKH 8070 (long shotgun, lobar), and MKH 800 TWIN (dual-capsule with adjustable pick-up pattern).

New accessories for the MKH 8000 series include the MZE Extension Tubes with a rotatable head, the MZGE 8000 Tube Connector, and the MZH 8042 Gooseneck.

The MKH 8030 is priced at Rs. 1,39,900 and is available through authorized dealers such as Advance Telemedia Private Limited, Premier Radios, TELERAD, and Division of Systronics LIMITED.
