The OnePlus Open was released last year in Emerland Dusk and Voyager Black color options. Now, the brand has launched the foldable phone in a new color variant along with bumped-up storage and additional features. Commenting on the launch, CEO Kinder Liu states that the OnePlus Open Apex Edition offers a more luxurious option with some new additions. OnePlus Open Apex Edition arrives
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition sports a premium vegan leather finish back panel in a gorgeous Crimson Red color. This shade has been used for previous OnePlus slab phones over the years. The alert slider button is accentuated in Red color. This Apex Edition design gives a premium in-hand feel.
Alongside the design, the OnePlus Open Apex Edition packs a whopping 1TB UFS 4.0 storage compared to 512GB on standard variants. Meanwhile, the RAM remains the same at 16GB. It is equipped with an independent security chip to safeguard your data. The foldable phone comes with a VIP mode that can be accessed via the alert slider. It puts the device in VIP mode and locks the security chip for robust VIP-level privacy and security. The OnePlus Open Apex Edition also gains the new AI Eraser and AI Smart Cutout image editing features for removing unwanted objects from photographs. The rest of the core specifications of the device remain the same as the standard models.
The OnePlus Open Apex Edition carries a price tag of Rs 1,49,999. It will be available from the brand’s website, Amazon, and leading retail stores across the country starting August 10.
