Google‘s Pixel 9 series is set to debut globally tomorrow, with India following suit on August 14. While initial reports indicated a limited launch of Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Pro Fold in India, Google’s official website now confirms the arrival of Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The entire series will be available not only on Flipkart but also through Reliance Digital and Croma.

Key details of the Pixel 9 Pro XL were recently leaked. As per the report, the Google Pixel 9 Pro XL will feature a 6.8-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2992 x 1344 pixels and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It will be powered by the Tensor G4 chip and M2 security chip, with 16 GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 128 GB to 1 TB. The device will run Android 14, with an upgrade to Android 15 expected soon after launch.

For cameras, the Pixel 9 Pro XL will have a 42 MP front camera, and a triple rear camera setup with a 50 MP primary sensor, a 48 MP ultrawide lens, and a 48 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. The phone is expected to have a 5,060mAh battery with 45W wired and wireless charging support.

Additional features include the Gemini AI, which offers smart tools like Pixel Studio for creating images, an AI-powered Weather App, a Reimagine feature for photo editing, and Screenshot Search. The rumored prices are $1,099 for the 128 GB model and $1,199 for the 256 GB model, with a free storage upgrade to 512 GB for pre-orders of the 256 GB variant.
