Portronics is expanding its projector lineup in India with the new Beem 450 model. This new smart projector has dropped with a massive 150-inch screen projection size and a budget friendly price tag. Earlier this year, the brand released the Beem 430 in the region, and the latest announcement appears to be its direct successor.

With the Beem 450, Portronics aims to offer a large and clear viewing experience for an affordable price. This smart LED projector has a 4,000 lumen lens that can work even in lit areas. It can project a screen size that ranges from 40 inches to 150 inches based on its distance from the surface it is projecting on.
The effective range is between 1.2 and 4 meters. The Beem 450 supports 1080p resolution (Full HD) and promises to offer vivid colors and sharp image quality for an immersive experience for your favorite movies, TV shows, and more.
The projector arrives with on-device controls that bring access to the menu, screen adjustment, and more. Although, there is also a remote control for convenient wireless controls. Other connectivity options are dual band WiFi, Bluetooth for wireless audio, Ethernet, two USB ports, AV port, and a 3.4mm audio jack.
Portronics Beem 450 houses a 5W built in speaker so it can run even without a dedicated speaker setup. It runs on the Android 11 OS that supports popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, and Disney+ Hotstar. You also get access to Chromecast and screen mirroring functionality.

The Beam 450 is currently listed for a price tag of 13,449 INR or roughly 160 US Dollars on the brand’s official website. However, Amazon India has it listed for just 10,388 INR. Customers can also find it on Flipkart and other online and offline retailers as of today (15th August 2024).
