We said that Xiaomi is developing a smartphone with the codename ‘zhuque’. This device was thought to be the brand’s first buttonless MIX model. However, Xiaomi actually tested a smartphone without a physical button 1.5 years ago and gave up on launching it. Now, we are seeing that the device manufacturer will once again introduce a model without a physical button.
Leaving aside the leaks about zhuque, let’s take a look at Xiaomi’s first smartphone ‘wangshu’ without a physical button. We came across some prototype images shared on the famous Chinese forum CoolAPK.
Meet the Unreleased “Wangshu” Prototype!
Xiaomi has a mysterious MIX smartphone codenamed ‘Wangshu’. This smartphone did not have physical buttons and had a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. At the same time, this device had an under-screen camera and 200W fast charging support. When we analyze the MIUI code, we think that the codename ‘Wangshu’ belongs to this prototype MIX device.

This special smartphone with the MIX logo on the top and bottom did not have any physical buttons. Xiaomi tested its first device without physical buttons 1.5 years ago. ‘Wangshu’ had a 2K 120Hz LTPO display and came with a 4500mAh battery.
