While the official launch of the Redmi Note 14 Pro series is just a couple of days away, details about the phone continue to surface online. We just don’t have the pricing, except that, leaks have already spilled the beans on its specs and we’ve also seen it in some real-life images.
Adding to the hype, a Weibo reviewer has now shared battery life test results for the Note 14 Pro+, and they’re looking quite impressive.
Packing a hefty 6200mAh battery, the Note 14 Pro+ seems to excel in endurance, based on these early tests. The reviewer appears to have put the phone through three scenarios: normal usage, gaming, and a mixed-use stress test.
Normal Usage
The first test mimicked regular usage with a mix of activities spread over 3 hours. This included video playback for 30 minutes, a 30-minute WeChat video call, a similar amount of time on TikTok, and other everyday tasks.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ emerged from this with a respectable 69% battery remaining, putting it in the same ballpark as competitors like the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro and the Redmi K70 Ultra. The only phone to edge it out slightly was the Realme GT 6, which managed to hold onto 70% battery after this round.

Gaming
The second round got more intense, with the reviewer subjecting the phone to 6 hours of intensive work, including gaming in popular titles like Genshin Impact and Honor of Kings for an hour each.

Here, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ actually took the lead. It ended the test with 15% battery remaining, which surprisingly matched the performance of the RedMagic 9s Pro despite its larger 6500mAh battery.

Overall Extreme battery test
Finally, the reviewer put the phone through an overall battery drain test without a set time limit. This involved a mix of WiFi usage, gaming, and other tasks.

The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ managed a commendable 7 hours and 24 minutes of screen-on time before shutting down.

This figure puts the Note 14 Pro+ at the top of the reviewer’s battery life test chart, even surpassing the RedMagic 9s Pro, which managed 6 hours and 58 minutes of screen-on time despite having a larger battery.
