A slew of new flagship phones is about to hit the Chinese market in October. Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip through the 2024 Snapdragon Summit, held between Oct. 21 and 23 in China. Soon after the launch, Xiaomi, Honor, iQOO, and OnePlus are expected to launch new flagship phones equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip before the end of October. In the above screengrab, the tipster claims that the OnePlus 13 will debut by the end of October, while the Realme GT 7 Pro is expected to debut in early November. The OnePlus 13 seems to feature a design that combines glass with new innovative or advanced materials not commonly used in previous models. The Realme GT 7 Pro will boast a 6.78-inch BOE X2 LTPO panel featuring a micro-curvature design on all four sides. This display will offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor. The rear camera setup is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera, an ultra-wide snapper, and a Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, supporting up to 10x hybrid zoom and up to 120x digital zoom.
The GT 7 Pro may come equipped with an iPhone 16-like solid-state Camera Control button. It is expected to come preloaded with Realme UI 6.0-based Android 15.
Under the hood, the GT 7 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip, with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage. It will feature a battery capacity of around 6,000mAh with 100W charging support. The handset is also said to arrive with an IP69 rating.
