We know that Xiaomi is gearing up for launch of the HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15. Although the company hasn’t announced the official launch plan, it’s likely the new OS will arrive this month.
Ahead of the launch, internal builds of HyperOS 2.0 have been spotted for the company’s upcoming flagship Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro smartphones. The HyperOS 2.0 build for the Xiaomi 15 has firmware version OS2.0.1.5.VOCCNXM, while for the 15 Pro, it is OS2.0.1.2.VOBCNXM.
These are the first devices that will get HyperOS 2.0 update
Beyond the flagship duo, internal testing of HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15 has started for over a dozen other Xiaomi and Redmi devices. These are expected to be the first in line for the update within China. The list includes:
- Xiaomi 14: OS2.0.0.24.VNCCNXM
- Xiaomi 14 Pro: OS2.0.0.22.VNBCNXM
- Xiaomi 14 Ultra: OS2.0.0.16.VNACNXM
- Xiaomi 13 Ultra: OS2.0.0.1.VMACNXM
- Xiaomi MIX Fold 4:OS2.0.0.1.VNVCNXM
- Xiaomi MIX Flip: OS2.0.0.2.VNICNXM
- Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro: OS2.0.0.24.VNXCNXM

- Redmi K70: OS2.0.0.1.VNKCNXM
- Redmi K70 Pro: OS2.0.0.1.VNMCNXM

However, global users might have to wait a bit longer. According to the report, HyperOS might launch globally in December, with a wider rollout potentially happening in January 2025.
Xiaomi has been pushing its HyperOS platform as a cornerstone of its connected ecosystem, encompassing smartphones, tablets, and smart home devices. HyperOS 2.0 is expected to bring a range of improvements, including a revamped interface, enhanced performance optimizations, and deeper integration with Xiaomi’s AI features.
