Xiaomi is set to release the Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro globally, after initially unveiling it in China back in August. The Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro offers significant improvements over its predecessor.

Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro

This compact device features a 2,500mAh battery, capable of inflating up to 16 car tires or 30 road bike tires on a single charge. It inflates a 205/55 R16 car tire from 2.0 to 2.5 Bar in about 45 seconds, much faster than the previous model’s two-minute inflation time. It can inflate tires to a pressure range of 0.2 to 10.3 Bar or 3 to 150 PSI and operates in temperatures between -10°C and 45°C.

The 2 Pro offers five inflation modes for different tire types and sizes, with customizable settings to meet specific pressure needs. It automatically stops once the desired pressure is reached, and the display shows real-time progress.

Key features include a multimode indicator light for warnings and flashlight use, a USB-C charging port, and a compact, portable design. The compressor has a rated input of 5V⎓3A, a rated energy of 27Wh, and takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge. The device measures approximately 152 x 100 x 63 mm (excluding the high-pressure air hose).

The package includes the Xiaomi Portable Electric Air Compressor 2 Pro, a Presta valve adapter, a needle valve, a storage bag, a fast-connecting air valve, a high-pressure air hose extension, a Type-C charging cable, and a user manual.

While pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed, it’s expected to be competitively priced, following the previous model’s $45 range. In China, the Air Compressor 2 Pro costs 299 yuan, which converts to around US$42.
