OnePlus has officially opened the beta testing phase for OxygenOS 15 x Android 15 on the OnePlus 12R, exclusively for Indian users. This early access program allows users to experience the latest features and improvements of the upcoming OxygenOS 15 update before its official release.

How to Apply:

  1. Check Your Phone’s Version: Ensure your OnePlus 12R is running on CPH2585_14.0.0.832(EX01) or CPH2585_14.0.0.833(EX01).
  2. Apply for the Beta:
    • Go to Settings > Software Update.
    • Tap the icon in the top right corner.
    • Select “Beta program” > “Release candidate, update now.”
    • Check for the new update and install it.

Important Notes:

  • Limited Availability: The beta program has limited slots, so applying early increases your chances of being selected.
  • Beta Version: This is a beta build, which may have stability issues and bugs.
  • Data Backup: It’s recommended to back up your important data before proceeding with the update.

Rolling Back to Stable Version:

If you encounter issues with the beta version, you can roll back to the stable version. However, please note that this process will erase all your data.

To roll back:

  1. Download the Rollback Package: Download the latest ROM rollback package from the specified server.
  2. Enter Developer Mode: Go to Settings > About device > Version and tap the build number seven times.
  3. Perform Local Installation: Go to Settings > About device > Up to date > Local install and select the downloaded rollback package.
  4. Restart Your Phone: Once the rollback is complete, restart your device.
