Xiaomi has unveiled its latest addition to the smart home ecosystem, the Xiaomi Whole-Home Router BE3600 Pro. This comes after the recent launch of Router BE3600.
The router is priced at 349 Yuan ($49) and is now available on JD.com. It offers broad Wi-Fi 7 coverage, high-speed data, and smart device interactions, ideal for complex layouts. Let’s check out its key specs.
Xiaomi BE3600 Pro Specifications
The BE3600 Pro features a Qualcomm quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 GHz, offering a 120% boost in processing power over previous models. This router incorporates Wi-Fi 7 technology, setting a new standard in wireless connectivity, and can deliver speeds up to 3600 Mbps.
It supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, utilizing Multi-Link Operation (MLO) aggregation to provide stable, high-speed connections throughout the home. It is equipped with a 2.5G adaptive WAN/LAN port which accommodates bandwidths up to 2000 Mbps, making it ideal for high-speed internet users. Additionally, it includes three 1G LAN ports, allowing for multiple wired connections.
The router covers up to 160 square meters and includes four high-power amplifiers to boost its signal, enabling it to penetrate walls and maintain connectivity in challenging areas like bathrooms and balconies. It supports up to 256 devices and uses Xiaomi’s Mesh networking technology, which allows users to connect up to 10 routers within a single network, delivering seamless coverage throughout large or complex home layouts.
The BE3600 Pro offers Bluetooth Mesh support, seamlessly integrating up to 128 Wi-Fi devices and 300 Bluetooth devices in a smart home setup. The router includes an NFC tap-to-connect feature, allowing Android devices to join the network instantly. Additionally, it supports Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect which enhances smart home interactions.
The BE3600 Pro router offers control through the Mi Home app or a web interface. It includes guest network options, data encryption, parental controls, a built-in firewall, and game acceleration for enhanced gaming performance. The router comes with a 1-year warranty.
The router also has a minimalist, antenna-free grey design with efficient heat dissipation via a chimney vent, heat sinks, and electroplated finishes for lasting performance.
Earlier today, Xiaomi also launched the Magnetic Cooling Clip with RGB lighting, PID control, and Mi Home app support, alongside the Mijia Portable Hot Water Dispenser, which offers 3-second quick heating and self-cleaning.
