Vivo is gearing up to launch a new mid range smartphone soon. A fresh leak has revealed that a Vivo Y300 model is set to launch soon, but ahead of the official launch, the device had its launch timeline, color options, and certain specs leaked. So here’s everything we know so far.
Vivo Y300 Launching Soon in 3 Colors
As the name suggests, this is the base model of the Vivo Y300 series. Back in October 2024, the Vivo Y300+ was announced in India with a tall curved AMOLED screen for just 23,999 INR (roughly 284 US Dollars). According to a MySmartPrice report, the Vivo Y300 will be announced by the end of November 2024. Although, the official launch date of the Y300 is still unclear.
The report adds that this upcoming device will launch with a titanium inspired design and will be available in three color options. This includes Phantom Purple, Titanium Silver, and Emerald Green variants. That’s not all, the rear will also feature a Sony IMX882 primary sensor along with an AI Aura Light. The battery capacity is still unknown but the Vivo Y300 will support 80W wired fast charging. To recall, the Vivo Y300+ was announced with a tall curved AMOLED screen. So the base Vivo Y300 may offer a flat AMOLED panel with a more affordable pricing.
The Plus variant is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, which is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It has a 50MP + 2MP camera setup on the rear, while the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. A 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 44W wired fast charging. Considering it has a faster charging rate, the battery capacity might take a hit, or we could get a more outdated processor. This is still just speculation at the moment, so take this report with a pinch of salt for now.
