The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is set to be Xiaomi‘s top camera smartphone for photography enthusiasts next year. It will feature a quad-camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor with a 23mm focal length and f/1.6 aperture, a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 sensor for ultrawide shots, a 50MP periscope lens with 3x zoom, and a robust 200MP sensor with 4.3x optical zoom and a 100mm focal length.

Earlier renders leaked last month revealed a prominent camera bulge to accommodate these lenses, but a new image circulating on Weibo now gives a clearer view of the impressive scale of these camera sensors within the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

The long lens at the top of the camera module is the 200MP, 100mm periscope lens. Below it sits the secondary IMX858 telephoto sensor, while the main and ultrawide cameras are aligned to its left and right, respectively.

The phone also features a notably thick middle frame, along with a visible wireless charging coil, confirming its support for wireless charging.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra Specifications

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is also rumored to feature a 6.7-inch, 120Hz LTPO OLED display with micro-curved edges. The display will also house an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for convenient and secure unlocking.

The 15 Ultra is said to come in three material finishes — plain leather, fiberglass, or ceramic, offering a variety of options to suit different preferences and styles.

Under the hood, the phone will likely use the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset for powerful performance. It may also pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. On the software side, it’s expected to run Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2.0, based on Android 15.

The Xiaomi 15 Ultra may debut in China in early 2025, with a global launch possibly following at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025.
