Huawei just unveiled a bunch of new products in its home market of China. The Huawei Mate 70 series of flagship smartphones, gold plated Watch Ultra Design, and Mate X6 foldable phone. Alongside these devices, the company also announced the Huawei Watch D2 as well. So let’s check it out.
Huawei Watch D2: What does it offer?
To recall, the Huawei Watch D2 was first launched back in September 2024 in Europe, arriving in the Philippines a month later. But now, it has finally been released in China. The Huawei Watch D2 has a familiar design, which resembles the Apple Watch. It sports a tall 1.82-inch AMOLED screen with a 408 x 408 resolution and offers an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. One of its notable aspects is the EU certified blood pressure tracking that got an improvement over its predecessor.

This sensor is more accurate than the Apple Watch Series 10 and Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra thanks to a built in micropump. The Watch D2 also supports heart rate tracking, smart lifestyle integration, temperature, and more. It even comes with support for more than 80 exercise modes and auto detection for 6 common activities. On a single full charge, the Huawei Watch D2 offers up to 6 days of battery life. Other notable features include GPS, NFC, SpO2, Huawei TruSense system, and more.
Pricing and Availability
Huawei unveiled the Watch D2 in two color variants, namely Champagne Gold and Black. The latest smartwatch has been released for 2,988 Yuan or roughly around 420 US Dollars. The Chinese tech giant is even offering its Care+ service plans for this wearable along with subscription options as well. For those unaware, the Care+ service provides premium support and other additional benefits to Huawei Watch D2 users.
