OnePlus recently confirmed that it will unveil the OnePlus Ace 5 series of smartphones this month (December) in China. It has already been revealed through the Geekbench listing that the Ace 5 will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. On the other hand, the Ace 5 Pro is expected to feature the more powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The Ace 5 had appeared with model number PKG110 in Geekbench’s database, and now a new Oppo phone with PKR110 has emerged in the database of China’s 3C certification platform. Speculations suggest that the PKR110 could be the model number of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro.

The above screenshot shows that the alleged OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will ship with a charger that supports up to 100W rapid charging. The Ace 5 is also expected to offer the same charging capabilities.
OnePlus is yet to confirm the OnePlus Ace 5 series launch date. Reports suggest that the Ace 5 Pro could arrive as the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone. At present, the Realme GT 7 Pro and the Redmi K80 Pro, which start at 3,699 Yuan (~$508), are the cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite phones available in the Chinese market. Probably, the Ace 5 could arrive with a 100-yuan cheaper price tag to clinch the title of the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite phone.
According to reports, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro may feature a 6.82-inch OLED panel that offers a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The topmost variant of the phone may offer 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
For selfies, it may feature a 16-megapixel front camera. The rear camera setup of the phone may feature a Sony iMX906 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, an ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 telephoto camera. It may house a battery of around 6,000mAh and run on ColorOS 15-based Android 15. It is also expected to feature a metal middle frame and a ceramic body.
