Earlier this month, Vivo finally revealed the official launch date of the X200 series in the Indian market. The brand’s flagship Vivo X200 and X200 Pro will be unveiled tomorrow (12th December 2024), but even before the announcement, the Indian pricing has been revealed.
Vivo X200 Series India Pricing Leak
The news comes from a known tipster Abhishek Yadav who shared the pricing details on X (formerly Twitter). To recall, the premium smartphone with the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 debuted in China in October 2024. The X200 lineup had a starting price tag of 4,300 Yuan or about 591 US Dollars. However, the company might release the base Vivo X200 with a 65,999 INR starting price (roughly 777 US Dollars). In other words, the Indian variant is noticeably more expensive in the Indian market.
The 65,999 INR is for the 12GB + 256GB model, while the 16GB + 512GB option costs 71,999 INR (roughly 848 US Dollars). On the other hand, the Vivo X200 Pro will reportedly cost 94,999 INR (roughly 1,199 US Dollars) in India for its lone 16GB + 512GB storage configuration. In China, this same variant launched for 5,299 Yuan (roughly 825 US Dollars). This marks a massive price difference between the two regions.
Based on recent teasers, the Vivo X200 Pro is confirmed to offer Zeiss lenses for the rear cameras, which includes India’s first 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto shooter and V3+ imaging chipset. Under the hood, you get MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400, which also powers the Oppo Find X8 series as well.
