HUAWEI has unveiled the FreeBuds Pro 4 for the global market, a few weeks after its launch in China. The launch took place in Dubai, alongside the Huawei Mate X6 foldable smartphone.

Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4 features
At the heart of the FreeBuds Pro 4 lies the powerful Kirin A2 chip, enabling high-speed 2.3 Mbps transmission and support for up to 48kHz/24-bit lossless audio.

The earbuds feature a dual-driver system, combining an 11mm dynamic driver with a micro-planar tweeter. This setup provides a balanced audio profile with deep bass, clear midrange, and extended treble.
To improve audio quality further, the FreeBuds Pro 4 includes advanced noise cancellation technology. Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) reduces ambient noise, while a voice-transparent mode lets users switch easily between music and conversations. The earbuds also use digital frequency division and dynamic EQ to adapt sound quality to the environment.

The earbuds are equipped with four microphones and a reverse bone conduction pickup microphone to enhance call quality. Additional features include immersive spatial audio and a nod-to-answer feature that allows users to answer or reject incoming calls hands-free.
The FreeBuds Pro 4 offers up to 6.5 hours of playback without ANC or 4.5 hours with ANC on a single charge. With the charging case, the battery life extends to 33 hours without ANC or 23 hours with ANC. The earbuds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for various conditions.
Pricing & availability
Available in Black, White, and Green, the HUAWEI FreeBuds Pro 4 is priced at 199 Euros and will be available for purchase starting January 9, 2025, through Huawei’s online store and selected retailers.
