OnePlus Buds Ace 2 Specifications (Teased)
As per the teaser, the Buds Ace 2 boasts a fresh, rounded design that sets it apart from its predecessor. The cylindrical stems and oval-shaped charging case not only look stylish but also promise a comfortable fit. The contrasting color scheme, with the inner part of the grey case featuring a vibrant green accent, adds a touch of gaming flair to the overall aesthetic. The buds will come in Black and Grey colors.
While specific details about the Buds Ace 2 are still under wraps, we can draw insights from its predecessor, the OnePlus Buds Ace. The original Buds Ace impressed with its 36-hour battery life and quick charging capabilities, delivering 5 hours of playback with just a 10-minute charge.

It’s reasonable to expect the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 to build upon this foundation, offering even longer battery life and faster charging times. Additionally, the earbuds are likely to be IP-rated for water and dust resistance, ensuring durability for both indoor and outdoor use.
The OnePlus Buds Ace 2 is also expected to cater to gamers with features like low-latency connectivity, powerful drivers, and immersive audio technologies, these earbuds are designed to provide an edge in competitive gaming.
We can anticipate the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 to support advanced audio codecs like AAC and LDAC, ensuring high-quality audio streaming from compatible devices. Furthermore, active noise cancellation (ANC) is likely to be included, allowing users to focus on their gaming experience without distractions.
Given the competitive pricing of the original Buds Ace, which launched at just 249 yuan ($34) in China, the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 is expected to follow a similar pricing strategy.
Talking about OnePlus’ global launch the company will launch the Buds Pro 3 in a new Sapphire Blue color, matching the OnePlus 13’s Midnight Ocean variant, on January 7, 2025. The earbuds will retain their features, including 50dB ANC, LHDC 5.0 codec, Google Spatial Audio, and up to 43 hours of battery life.
