OnePlus is set to unveil a new color variant of its flagship earbuds, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3, alongside its highly anticipated OnePlus 13 smartphone in January 2025.
The upcoming colorway, dubbed Sapphire Blue, features a striking two-tone finish, blending silver and blue elements. This design choice aligns with the Midnight Ocean color variant of the OnePlus 13. The launch of both of these devices, alongside the OnePlus 13R, will be launching on January 7.
The specifications of the new color option of the Buds Pro 3 will remain unchanged, meaning that it will feature an 11mm woofer and a 6mm tweeter, powered by two Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) per earbud for precise tuning. These earbuds offer 50dB active noise cancellation, which can adapt to the environment, along with a transparency mode for situational awareness. They support the LHDC 5.0 codec with a 1Mbps transmission rate and include Google Spatial Audio with head tracking. Three microphones and a bone-conduction mic ensure clear call quality.
The earbuds provide up to 43 hours of total battery life, with 6 hours of usage per charge (10 hours without ANC). The case supports both fast and wireless charging.
The OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are priced at Rs 11,999 in India, and globally, they are priced at $179 / £199 / €199.
In related news, the OnePlus 13R has been confirmed to feature a 6,000mAh battery, a 500mAh increase from its predecessor. It will come in Nebula Noir and Astral Trail colors, with a flat display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
