Samsung seems to have reached the end of its patience when it comes to leaks ahead of its major announcements (like the upcoming Galaxy S25 series). The company is taking drastic steps to dissuade leaks and is implementing stricter measures to reduce the risks of its products getting out.

Samsung gets serious against Galaxy S25 leaks

Just a while back, Samsung fired a bunch of employees for leaking the Galaxy S25. And now, it seems to be taking steps to minimize the risks of such incidents happening in the future as well. Sources have claimed that the South Korean tech giant is strengthening its security in response to these ongoing leaks. At this point, we have already covered various rumors and leaks regarding the upcoming flagship phones.

The base Galaxy S25 is expected to get a RAM upgrade with the lineup supporting Qi2 wireless charging tech. From storage configurations to color options, we already know a lot about these devices. There are also rumors going around of a new entry, which could be dubbed the Galaxy S25 Slim. This model is expected to measure just 7mm in thickness. But despite its slim form factor, the Galaxy S25 Slim version could pack the same battery size as the Galaxy S24 Ultra (5,000mAh capacity).

While all of these leaks do build up the anticipation for the Galaxy S25 series, it is not all good news for Samsung. Reports have claimed that early leaks could potentially impact stock prices as customers might make opinions and make actions ahead of these products are officially released. It is unclear how the brand plans to deal with these leaks. Renowed tipsters like Ice Universe are known for their Samsung leaks, so these changes might impact their tips as well.
