The Vivo V50 series has recently been spotted getting reports and certifications, which hinted at its imminent release. But ahead of the official announcement, a new report has revealed the launch timeline for the Vivo V50. So let’s check it out.
Vivo V50 series India launch timeline
According to a SmartPrix report, the Chinese brand is gearing up to launch the Vivo V50 in the Indian market in the third week of February 2025. This is in line with one of our earlier reports. Only the base V50 model will be dropping next month, while the higher end Vivo V50 Pro has reportedly been delayed. Based on what we know so far, the vanilla Vivo V50 could drop in India on 18th February 2025.
Since the launch is right around the corner, we can expect the Vivo V50 to start getting teased by the company soon. To recall, the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro made its debut around the same time last year. However, the V50 Pro is likely arriving later on. The NCC certification from earlier this month revealed the battery, fast charging, RAM, and storage variants of the Vivo V50. This model will apparently launch in two storage configurations, namely 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB.
A massive 6,000mAh battery pack could power this device, with support for 90W wired fast charging. Rumors have suggested that the Vivo V50 might be a modified version of the Vivo S20 rather than a direct rebrand. The design of this model was also revealed in the certification, which confirms the return of the Zeiss collaboration for the rear cameras.
