A recent leak revealed that China will receive two Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablets in the first half of 2025. These include the Oppo Pad 4 Pro and the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. The former has surfaced on Geekbench, confirming that it will indeed feature the said chipset.

Oppo Pad 4 Pro Geekbench appearance

As seen above, a new Oppo tablet with the model number OPD2409 has emerged in Geekbench’s database. This same device was spotted with an 80W fast charger at China’s 3C certification platform earlier this month. Reports suggest that the Oppo OPD2409 will be marketed as the Oppo Pad 4 Pro when it launches in China.

The Geekbench listing reveals that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro is equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite. Although the chipset’s name is not explicitly mentioned in the listing, the CPU details and GPU information confirm that it is the SD8E.

Rumors suggest that the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will debut alongside the new Find X8 series devices, which are expected to launch in April in China. Hence, it appears that the Pad 4 Pro may launch as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered tablet.

Coming back to the Geekbench listing, it reveals that the tablet is equipped with 16GB of RAM and runs Android 15. In the single-core test, it achieved 2,628 points, and in the multi-core test, it scored 7,892 points.

According to reports, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro will feature a 13.2-inch LCD panel that supports a 3.4K resolution. The SoC is likely to be accompanied by a 12,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging. The other details of the tablet remain under wraps.
