After the recent global launch of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra smartphones in the global market, the brand appears to be preparing for a mid-cycle refresh called the Xiaomi 15S Pro.

Last month, the phone was spotted on the IMEI database with 25042PN24C model number, codenamed “dijun.” A leaked photo has now confirmed the existence of the Xiaomi 15S Pro. The leak originated from a Weibo post by a Xiaomi software director, which was later deleted. Tipster Kartikey Singh spotted the post, which included a sample image tagged “Xiaomi 15S Pro.”
According to industry sources, the 15S Pro could launch as early as the second week of April, possibly alongside the 14-inch Xiaomi Pad 7 Max tablet. While details are still limited, the phone is expected to retain the design of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro. The main change may come from its chipset, as reports suggest Xiaomi’s proprietary XRING SoC could power the device instead of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon processors.
The Xiaomi 15S Pro is likely to retain the Leica-tuned camera system from the Xiaomi 15 Pro, focusing on refinements rather than major changes. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 expected to launch in October, the device will likely feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, aligning with the rest of the Xiaomi 15 series. The device also made an appearance on China’s 3C certification last month, revealing its 90W fast charging capability. With the launch expected to happen by the second week of April, we can expect more information to surface in the coming days.
