LG has introduced two new models to its UltraGear OLED GX9 lineup, the 45GX90SA and 39GX90SA, expanding its portfolio of smart gaming monitors. These two displays join the previously released 34GX90SA and are designed for users who want a high-end gaming experience with built-in entertainment features.

The 45GX90SA features a 45-inch OLED panel, while the 39GX90SA comes with a slightly more compact 39-inch display. Both models sport a 21:9 ultra-wide aspect ratio with WQHD (3440×1440) resolution and an 800R curvature that wraps around the field of view for immersive desk-bound gaming. Each screen equips a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GtG response time, making them suitable for fast-paced games where responsiveness is critical.

The monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-Sync, offering smooth, tear-free visuals. They also feature peak HDR brightness of up to 1300 nits and typical SDR brightness of 275 nits, with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. LG claims 98.5% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring vivid, color-accurate output.

What sets these monitors apart is their built-in webOS 24 platform. Each model comes preloaded with smart features that allow users to stream content directly from Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and other services, without needing a PC. They also support game streaming platforms such as Nvidia GeForce Now and Amazon Luna, along with access to over 350 LG Channels. In terms of connectivity, both monitors come with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, and USB-C ports.

Pricing and Availability

The LG UltraGear OLED GX9 series is now available in the U.S., offering three models: the 45-inch 45GX90SA priced at $1,699, the 39-inch 39GX90SA at $1,599, and the 34-inch 34GX90SA at $1,399. These monitors can be purchased through LG.com and authorized retailers.
