Honor has launched yet another phone in China. The X70i that has gone official is the fourth smartphone this month after the Honor Power, Honor X60 GT, and Honor GT Pro. While these are powerful devices equipped with high-end Snapdragon chipsets, the X70i is budget offering equipped with a Dimensity chipset. Here’s a look at the specifications, features, and price of the device.
Honor X70i specifications and features
The Honor X70i features a slim profile measuring 161mm × 74.55mm × 7.29mm and weighs about 178.5g. It sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2412 x 1080 pixels FHD+ resolution, a DCI-P3 wide colour gamut, 10-bit colors, and up to 3,500nits of peak brightness. Camera-wise, the device comes with a single 108-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.75 aperture and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.
Under the hood, the Honor X70i is powered by the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. It houses a large 6,000mAh and supports 35W fast charging via USB Type-C.
The X70i runs on MagicOS 9.0, which is based on Android 15. It features an under-display fingerprint sensor and supports a wide range of connectivity options, including 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and GPS. Also, it offers an IP65-level of dust and water resistance.
Honor X70i price and availability
The Honor X70i is offered in three variants: 8GB+256GB priced at 1,399 Yuan (~$190),12GB+256GB at 1,699 Yuan (~$230), and 12GB+512GB at 1,899 Yuan (~$260). It is available in four colour options — Magnolia Purple, Moon Shadow White, Velvet Black, and Sky Blue.
Notably, the Honor X70i is a slightly modified version of the Honor 400 Lite sold globally. While the X70i offers a larger 6,000mAh battery and a single 108-megapixel rear camera, the 400 Lite features a 5,320mAh battery, a 108-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup, a 16-megapixel front camera, and weighs a slightly lighter 171 grams.
